Another is to make paper cutouts and move them around, which is what did for the Monty Python movies. One of those ways is to 3D print a separate object for each character shape. work shows that there many ways to do stop motion animation, perhaps a part of what makes it so much fun. The result is entirely convincing as you can see in the trailer below. An Arduino sketch then uses the Firmata library to receive the positions and move the servos. He uses an AS3 script to send those positions off to an Arduino. Animate then does the interpolation between the different shapes, producing the servo positions needed for each frame. Extensive quantitative evaluations on our challenging benchmarks show that the lip-sync accuracy of the videos generated by our Wav2Lip model is almost as good as real synced videos. We identify key reasons pertaining to this and resolve them by learning from a powerful lip-sync discriminator. However, they fail to accurately morph the lip movements of arbitrary identities in dynamic, unconstrained talking face videos, resulting in significant parts of the video being out-of-sync with the new audio. Current works excel at producing accurate lip movements on a static image or videos of specific people seen during the training phase.
